THE RETREAT...

Business managers, leaders, creative people, facilitators, community workers and teams are invited to recharge their batteries, during a Business Retreat in the beautiful, creative environment of the Tribal Earth World Music and Arts Festival. The Business Retreat takes place twice a year and can also be arranged for you as a bespoke event.

Last year's key themes for the Retreat were: Change and Innovation; Creativity and Values; Organisation and Communication; Passion and Commitment & Career and Achievement. This year is a retreat for facilitators, trainers, managers and those wishing to reflect on their working lives and makes some fresh resolution.

Guests will benefit through this ideal opportunity to meet new folk, making new friends and connections, and developing new product and service ideas. Or perhaps just giving yourself a space to relax!

There will also be opportunities to sample the delights of the main Festival including live music, healing sessions, fire show and camp fires. Or guests can simply find their own quiet space and de-stress by enjoying the tranquil East Sussex countryside surrounding the Pestalozzi Estate.

Paul Levy (theatre writer and facilitator) will be co-ordinating the Retreat. He says: "As well as joining in with workshops and discussion sessions, our Business Retreat offers guests a chance to escape from the world for a day, an evening or for a few days. It's a chance to do as you please. whether that's joining in a festival, doing absolutely nothing in the fresh air, or enjoying some company indoors or out".

Businesses and individuals attending the Retreat are welcome to bring along family and friends to enjoy the main Festival.

Now in its eighth year, The Tribal Earth World Arts & Music Festival will help to raise vital funds for the Pegasus Children's Project in Nepal, a registered charity, which provides accommodation, food, clothing and education for local street children aged 5-14 years old.

"The family orientated festival provides an exciting and eclectic mix of world music, theatre, games, sports and entertainment within an area of outstanding natural beauty", says Festival organiser Simon McCarty. "People of all ages and from all backgrounds can gather together to enjoy a unique and friendly atmosphere whilst also raising money to help those less fortunate than themselves".

With activities including the Fantastic Flamin' Gorgeous Fireshow, African drum workshops, samba dancing, yoga, and an inspirational children's zone, festival goers are encouraged to join in with the fun and try their hand at something new, all within the tranquility of the Sussex countryside.
