Recycled Dreams
Education and Development

Recycled Dreams is first and foremost a performance. Evaluation at Legal and General post-performance showed the play to be not only provocative and memorable, but also an effective way to stimulate genuine reflection about sustainability. People remember the play, it challenges their thinking and behaviour. So it stands up as a piece of audience-led education in its own right.

Rational Madness is also available for a number of accompanying activities to go alongside the performance for those wanted to look more deeply into sustainability and the themes raised by the play.

An After-Performance Discussion (One hour)

We’ll explore the key questions and issues raised by the play, broadening them to a discussion and practical reflection on sustainability in your organisation. We’ll look at some of the immediate actions an organisation can take to begin and authentic attempt to be sustainable.

Cost:
£250 plus VAT when accompanying one or more performances

A two hour workshop with the author/director (Two hours)

This session takes a more in-depth look at the play’s themes, linking them, scene by scene to your own organisations’ agenda regarding sustainability. We’ll also reveal the play’s underlying approach to sustainability, exploring how theatre can be used as a tool for change in businesses and organisations. We’ll explore Impact Theatre as a means for effective authentic change in an organisation.

Cost:
£350 plus VAT when accompanying one or more performances

An Interactive Workshop with the director and the cast of the play (2-3 hours)

In this session, for groups of 12-16 people), we’ll use methods of interactive theatre, developed by Rational Madness, to go deeply into the issue of sustainability. Participants will not have to perform or act themselves, but will get a chance to engage with the cast, asking them questions, challenging them, and in the process reflecting on their own attitudes and behaviour towards sustainability at work. Participants will be leave with a clearer sense of their own next steps regarding sustainability at work. Fun, engaging, deep and interactive.

Cost:
£500 plus VAT when accompanying one or more performances

All sessions are led and facilitated by Paul Levy, the author of the play, Paul is also an author in the field of change and innovation management, as well as facilitating workshops and events on the Collusion of Mediocrity, Sustainability and change, all over the world.
